Youth Conference on Community Based Adaptation (CBA 10) was held between the dates 26/04/16 and 27/04/16 parallel to the CBA10, an international conference on community-based adaptation in North South University, Dhaka. Nahim Razzaq MP, member of the parliamentary standing committee on youth and sports was present as the chief guest in the concluding ceremony. Sharon Hauser, Director- Program Development and Quality of Save the Children attended as Special Guest while Dr. G U Ahsan, Dean of School of Health and Life Science of North South University chaired the session. Members of youth club, namely Salma Akter Rita and Mijan Islam anchored the concluding ceremony and Save the Children has been supporting community-based initiative in combating climate change. The youth club is supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australian Government. 

Earlier, there was a session held in the morning on youth-led community development in cities. Sessions were facilitated by Mostak Hussain, Syed Matiul Ahsan and Abdur Rahim.  Climate Vulnerability Capacity Assessment (CVCA) were illustrated in front of youth participants. Young participants worked in four groups to present their findings on the following issues:

• Extreme Heat and its impact on youth and children
• Sustainable Economic Development and impact on Children and youth
• Environmental Degradation and impact on Children and youth
• Political Stability and its impact on children and youth
